Abstract

The objective of this explore was: To evaluate the sociodemographic factors connected with nutritionary status in youngsters from 6 months to 2 ages old treated at the Taparachi Juliaca 2023 Health Post. Methods: A non-experimental, correlational project was used, with a quantitative approach, with a population of 372 mothers of children, the instruments were an interview guide of sociodemographic factors and a standardized nutritional evaluation sheet with a guide instrument that They were adapted to our reality. Results: Sociodemographic factors are associated with nutritionary level in daughters from 6 months to 2 years. Demographic factors: The indicator: age of the mother, 58.9% are among 20 and 29 years old, 56.2% only have one child, 48.1% have a common-law relationship, 38.2% % have a complete secondary education level and 56.2% have their first child in their intergenetic period. Regarding the social factors dimension, 57.3% have a home with water, drainage and environments for each function, 61.0% have an income of less than S/.1,025, 52.2% have an independent job, 51.9% have a family of 1 to 3 family members and 68.8% have adequate complementary food. Finally, According to their nutritional status, 86.6% was said to have a normal nutritional status, while 11.3% short and 2.2% tall among children with cancer, respectively. Conclusion: The sociodemographic characteristics are related to nutritional health in children from 6 months to 2 years treated at the Taparachi Juliaca 2023 Health Post. Suffice it to mention that each of them are statistically significant (p <0.05), i.e., the hypotheses posed were accepted.
