dc.description.abstractSocial media platforms have become ubiquitous instruments that, although they can simplify communication and access to information, they can also simplify the search for information, they are also associated with impulsive and risky behaviors, such as inattention, decreased performance academics and exposure to inappropriate content. The objective of which is to analyze the relationship that exists between the use of social networks and impulsive behavior in schoolchildren, Establecimiento Agropecuario Quiaca, Sandia, Puno-2023. The methodology adjusts to the quantitative, deductive approach, the design is adapted to the non-experimental and correlational level of analysis. Results: 64.9% affirm that social media platforms have caused an alteration in their children's behavior, 38.4% state that they do not know what content their child watches on social networks, 64.9% consider that Their child checks social networks every moment, including at family gatherings, 56.1% indicate that their child abandons their tasks when using social networks, 64.9% indicate that their child changes mood and emotional stability when using social networks. social network. Conclusion: The correlation between the use of social networks and impulsive behavior in students was studied, showing a long association r=0.911 through Spearman's Rho and a significance p=0.000 that is less than 0.05.
